From June 2025, US Vietnam Talent International School (UTS) officially welcomes Ms. Anita Spittle as the new Head of School – a significant milestone in the school’s journey of holistic and sustainable development.
A Journey of Leadership in International Education
Holding a Master’s degree in Educational Management & Leadership from Open University (UK), Ms. Anita Spittle has held multiple executive roles across prominent international and bilingual school systems in both the UK and Vietnam. Over the past two decades, she has led curriculum innovation initiatives, international accreditation efforts, and faculty development in multicultural learning environments.
“The mission of a school is not to mold students into a single ideal form, but to create the conditions for them to develop their own identities and step into life with confidence, kindness, and a global mindset”.

A Shared Vision in Leadership and Educational Philosophy
From her very first days at UTS, joining the Re-envision Project and Team Building activities, Ms. Anita shared that what impressed her most was not the facilities or the curriculum, but the people.
“I felt a learning environment where students are truly listened to, encouraged to take on challenges, and genuinely supported.”
To her, UTS is not just a school, but a human-centered community, where every individual has a voice, a role, and is valued.

Her First Impressions of UTS
Ms. Anita deeply resonates with UTS’s educational philosophy: “Growing Talent with Care”, which prioritizes not only academic development, but also students’ mental well-being, creativity, and self-awareness.
“I believe that when students are heard and appropriately challenged, they not only excel academically but also live with greater purpose.”

Key Educational Goals Moving Forward
As UTS expands into a multi-campus model, Ms. Anita sees this as a “time of transformation and opportunity.” In her new role, she has identified three core priorities for the next phase of UTS’s growth:
1 – Enhancing Teaching and Learning Quality
She aims to ensure that UTS students learn in an environment of academic excellence, supported by modern teaching approaches that foster critical thinking, curiosity, and lifelong learning. She especially emphasizes the importance of a professional, innovative teaching staff as the foundation for a thriving learning ecosystem.
2 – Building a Stronger Community
As a top priority at UTS, Ms. Anita places great value on community engagement in shaping each student’s learning journey. She believes that strong collaboration between families, the school, and students is key to making UTS a forward-looking educational environment.
3 – Creating More Opportunities for Holistic Student Development
Her vision is to build an environment where students not only achieve academically, but are also empowered to explore and express their talents.
UTS will continue to be a place where students grow in confidence, develop independent thinking, and nurture meaningful life values.

And above all, I look forward to listening to your stories, your hopes, and your dreams – so that together, we can shape a strong and inspiring UTS for the future.”
