“Dragon Eye Artistry” – Drawing Competition Celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024
In the festive atmosphere of welcoming the grandest celebration of the year, UTS organized a drawing contest with the theme “Dragon Eye Artistry” aimed at creating an attractive artistic playground and fostering the creative spirit of the students. Over the span of 7 days, the contest attracted more than 230 artworks, which is evidence of the enthusiasm and excitement of UTS-ers towards exciting and enriching movements at the school. Each student, with their unique creativity, has created a vibrant and lively UTS painting, full of colors, every day.

Spring Fair 2024: “Tet in 3 regions”
Lunar New Year is an important festival in Vietnamese culture. Tet customs will have many differences amongst the 3 regions of North – Central – South, resulting in an interesting diversity. The UTS Spring Fair 2024 will be held under the theme “Tet in 3 regions” by US Vietnam Talent International School, which aims to reproduce the traditional Tet space of 3 regions of the country through typical folk activities. There are 03 main types of booths in the Spring Fair: – Food booth of 3 regions: Noth – Central – South – Folk game booth (toy figurine – coconut leaf, Dong Ho art print…) – Tet market booth (calligraphy, envelopes) A part of the revenues from each booth in the Spring Fair will go toward the UTS Impact Fund. According to UTS, students learn how to share and have the truest feelings, experiences about the value of Tet, in addition to enjoying themselves and learning about the Lunar New Year.

Interdisciplinary project between Music and Physics: “Homemade musical instruments”
Have you ever wondered what it would be when you integrate Science with Music? Let Grade 11 students bring us into different harmonic rhythm in the project “Music – Physics: Homemade Musical Instruments” It is a cross-curricular project between Physics and Music, requiring UTS-ers to understand sound waves and music theory to create musical instruments such as Guitar, Xylophone, Lyre and Bottle Marimba from recycled materials. The effort and meticulousness of UTS-ers has successfully wrapped up the project with a spectacular concert with exciting sounds just simply made from basic materials.
