Sharing Emotions and Memories with the “UTS Diary” Project
Before taking distance learning courses due to the effects of the epidemic, Grade 7 and 11 students of UTS participated in the closing event of the interesting “UTS DIARY” English project. Every day at UTS is a memorable and joyful day. To capture these meaningful experiences, UTS-ers started to implement creative ideas such as video clips, handwritten diary entirely in English. At the closing event, UTS-ers introduced their products in front of everyone through confident presentations. Moreover, they perfectly performed many well-prepared performances on the stage. Through these activities, the soft skills as well their uses of English are maximized in all activities.

The International Kangaroo Math Contest 2021 at UTS: The glowing colors of Math
The International Kangaroo Math Contest (IKMC) 2021 had been successfully organized at US Vietnam Talent International School on the Sunday morning, April 11st, 2021. This contest is a special occasion for UTS-ers in particular and students all over Vietnam in general to challenge themselves with creative and interesting Math problems. IKMC was organized in order to encourage teaching and studying Math in international orientation by developing thinking through practical math problems. Therefore, young generations could have enough mindset, skills to integrate with the world and stand shoulder to shoulder with international friends. Whatever the result will be, each student is deserved to receive encouragement for their efforts. How to learn descriptive writing effectively?
In the 21st century education model, teachers have mission to inspire students with learning and innovative spirit, help students develop base competencies. The Writing lesson of class 4.1 promoted this spirit in a creative and realistic way. Descriptive writing is not just thinking and imagining. At UTS, students brought flowers and fruits to class, feel their own shapes and tastes. By the own feelings, they wrote sincere and lovely descriptive writings. Miss Phuong Linh – Homeroom Teacher of class 4.1 shared: “I want to launch this activity to help UTS-ers understand Writing is not far and high as well, it is linked to the real life. They can make writings which imprint their personality, teacher will be a guidance to help them complete the tasks!”
